Once certified with the PBIA, which is accredited by the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and recognized by leading organizations globally, you will obtain the Certified Pharmacy Benefits Organization (CPBO) designation.
Three Step Process
Bronze Certification
Minimum score achieved in all three attributes, must employee at least one certified Pharmacy Benefits Specialist
(valid for 3 years)
Silver Certification
Score of 7 or higher achieved in all three attributes, must employee at least three Certified Pharmacy Benefits Specialists
(valid for 3 years)
Gold Certification
Score of 7 or higher achieved in all three attributes, must employ at least five Certified Pharmacy Benefits specialists and one Certified Pharmacy Benefits Leader
(valid until Gold Certification expires)
